Er. Prasanta Kumar Sahoo is an Assistant Professor and Workshop Superintendent in the Mechanical Engineering Department at DRIEMS Polytechnic. He holds a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from SIET, Dhenkanal (2007) and an M.Tech. in Mechanical System Design from DRIEMS (2019). With one year of industry experience at Shyam Metallics Ltd., Sambalpur, and 15 years of teaching experience since 2009, he brings a strong practical and academic background. His research interests include Machine Design, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning, and Electric and Hybrid Vehicles. He has completed several FDPs and STTPs through AICTE ATAL, NITTTR Kolkata, and other institutes across India, along with various NPTEL/SWAYAM certifications. He has also guided students on several innovative project ideas.
