DRIEMS Polytechnic (AUTONOMOUS)
A Legacy of Technical Excellence
Established in 2003 at Tangi, Cuttack, DRIEMS Polytechnic has evolved from a modest intake of 240 to a premier technical hub with a capacity of 570 students. Strategically located near the twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, the institute offers five engineering branches: Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Computer Science, and Electronics & Telecommunication.
National Recognition & Quality
The institution is a leader in quality education, consistently ranking 2nd among private polytechnics in Odisha by the Quality Council of India (QCI). Demonstrating academic excellence, its Mechanical, Electrical, and Computer Science programs are NBA accredited.
Historic Autonomy & Innovation
In a landmark achievement, DRIEMS has become the first private polytechnic in Odisha to be granted Autonomous status (effective 2026-27) by the AICTE. This allows for an industry-aligned curriculum based on NEP-2020, bridging the gap between academia and global industrial needs.
