Mr. Prasanta Kumar Sahoo is currently working as an Assistant Professor and Workshop Superintendent in DRIEMS POLYTECHNIC in the department of Mechanical Engineering. He has completed his B.tech. in Mechanical Engineering from SIET, Dhenkanal under BPUT in the year 2007 & M.Tech. in Mechanical System Design from DRIEMS in the year 2019. He has 1 year industry experience in Shyam Metallics Ltd. Sambalpur from 2008 to 2009 and 15 years of teaching experience from 2009 onwards. His interested area of specialization for research is Designing of Machine Elements, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning, Electric and Hybrid vehicles etc. He has participated and successfully completed several FDPs & STTPs of AICTE ATAL, NITTTR Kolkata and various Technical Institutes across india. He has also certified by successfully completing various NPTEL/SWAYAM courses. He has guided several innovative project ideas to the students.
